Our engineers visit your site, assess your existing CCTV infrastructure, and design a full TechCamAI deployment plan. Includes camera placement recommendations, AI parameter design for your specific monitoring requirements (ANPR zones, hi-viz areas, restricted zones, no-go areas), and a written specification you can hand to your installer.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Does the licence expire?

Yes. Each licence is valid for 12 months. You get an email reminder and an in-dashboard alert 30 days before expiry. Renew directly through the website.

Can I move the licence to a new PC?

No — licences are hardware-locked. If your PC breaks, contact us at support@techcamai.com with proof of purchase and we will manually transfer it. Your countdown continues from where you left off.

Does it need internet to run?

No. TechCamAI runs entirely on your local network. The only internet calls are the AI assistant (OpenAI API, optional) and periodic licence validation.

What cameras does it support?

Any Hikvision, Dahua, or ONVIF-compatible IP camera. Works with most NVR/DVR systems via RTSP or HTTP snapshot. Use the LAN scan feature to auto-discover cameras.

What happens when my licence expires?

The dashboard becomes read-only and detections pause. Your recorded history and footage remain accessible. Renew to resume full operation.

My site has more than 50 cameras, what do I do?

Our enterprise unit supports up to 250 cameras. For larger installations, contact us — we can design and build a custom deployment to meet your exact requirements.

What if I lose my licence key or my PC breaks?

Contact support@techcamai.com with your name, email address, payment method, and date of purchase. We will verify your order and manually reset the licence so you can activate on a replacement machine. Your subscription countdown continues from where it left off — no time is lost.

Can I reinstall TechCamAI if I reset my PC?

Yes, but you must contact us first. Licences are hardware-locked, so a full Windows reset or reinstall on a different drive may trigger a new machine ID. Email support@techcamai.com with your proof of purchase and we will manually release the lock for re-activation.
